Lacal social apps & services

Thoughts after some talk about  local navigation services. There is a bunch of opportunities for local social apps & services creation. Navigation is just one category among a lot of others.

OK, what we need for this? Three things:

1.  Actual data feeds and APIs;
2.  Apps & services created by 3d party developers;
3.  Market place & access points for end users;

Social institutions should provide all necessary information in standardized public format.

Based on all this data feeds 3d party companies will be able to create dozens of applications & services. World trends are impressive, look at apple app store or google apps market place, etc.

Apps & services market places also should be provided by both private companies or public institutions.

Access points are just end user devices like PCs, mobile devices or public terminals.

Business model:
- Advertizing;
- End users payments;
- Grants;


Hmm, so what is the purpose of this stuff,  just society improvements.
